Designed a mobile-first attendee experience to streamline on-site access to schedules, directions, and appointments. Worked in close collaboration with the CEO and Head of Sales to rapidly iterate and tailor the portal for prospective client pitches. Though the project was never launched, it reflects high-velocity design thinking and strategic alignment across teams.


PROBLEM

At congresses, large pharmaceutical companies strive to provide their customers with tailored, professional experiences that go beyond generic event apps. However, strict compliance regulations limit how companies can communicate with attendees, creating a need for a secure, customizable tool to share critical event information efficiently and effectively.

PROCESS

Collaboration occurred directly with the company’s CEO and Sales lead to develop a feature pitch for a high-profile pharmaceutical client. Deliverables included:

  • A detailed Figma design highlighting proposed functionality and user experience
  • A fully functional prototype demonstrating real-world usability
  • A comprehensive presentation ultimately pitched to the client

SOLUTION

The Customer Portal leverages Cadence’s robust event management platform to deliver a secure, branded, and responsive interface accessed through magic links. This solution allows attendees to seamlessly view their event schedules, walking directions, and real-time appointment details. With configurable action menus for updates and direct contact options, the Customer Portal enhances the event experience while ensuring compliance and maintaining a high level of user engagement.
