As the lead designer at Cadence, I directed a strategic landing page redesign as part of a broader brand revamp and repositioning. Cadence is an all-in-one event technology platform built to help organizations plan, manage, and host impactful experiences. 

The new landing page introduces a more user-centered, visually cohesive experience, with clear pathways tailored to key audiences — Healthcare, Pharma, Life Sciences, and Enterprise — enabling visitors to quickly identify relevant solutions and better understand the platform’s value.


PROBLEM

Cadence’s current website lacks clear industry-specific targeting and brand cohesion, making it difficult for visitors from its two primary sectors—Healthcare/Pharma/Life Sciences and Enterprise Organizations—to navigate and understand the value of the platform. A cluttered sitemap, overwhelming features section, and inconsistent design further hinder engagement, reducing the site’s effectiveness at communicating Cadence’s offerings.

PROCESS

Close coordination with the Marketing lead resulted in a responsive, streamlined landing page designed to enhance user engagement and reflect updated branding. Key elements of the redesign included:

  • Designing and prototyping the new landing page layout
  • Developing cohesive design assets that aligned with established brand standards
  • Collaborating on updated copy to ensure clear, impactful messaging

By guiding this end-to-end process—from the initial concept through the final prototype—I delivered a cohesive, high-quality result while driving brand consistency.

SOLUTION

A four point plan was implemented: 
  • Distinct Sections for Each Sector: Introduce a visually clear, two-column layout and navigation to guide Healthcare/Pharma/Life Sciences and Enterprise visitors directly to relevant content.
  • Brand-Driven Design Refresh: Update the site’s look and feel to align with Cadence’s latest branding, incorporating cohesive color palettes, typography, and visuals used in recent campaigns.
  • Streamlined Navigation and Sitemap: Restructure the features section and overall sitemap to reduce clutter, making important pages easier to find and delivering a more intuitive user journey.
  • Tailored Messaging for Key Audiences: Ensure copy and visuals speak directly to each sector’s needs and challenges, effectively conveying Cadence’s strengths as an event tech platform.

By combining a targeted information architecture with a refreshed brand design, the updated landing page strengthens Cadence’s online presence, enhances user engagement, and more accurately represents the company’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge event technology solutions.
