APPOINTMENTS VOTE VIEW

Enhanced Cadence’s scheduling system with a new vote view interface that enables schedulers to easily review customer-voted times and room availability. Expanded on existing flows to ensure a consistent, intuitive experience while refining the interface to improve clarity and usability. This feature helped streamline appointment coordination across large-scale events.


PROBLEM

In the appointments system, organizers and schedulers lacked a streamlined way to view customer votes and suggested availabilities for "Ask Multiple Customers" appointments. This gap made it challenging to identify the most suitable meeting times efficiently. To resolve this, a dedicated view was needed for organizers, schedulers, admins, and event managers to review customer votes and preferences in a clear, accessible format. 

PROCESS

This feature was built upon the foundational redesign of the appointments system created by another designer in the company. Efforts were made to maintain a cohesive style with the original design to ensure consistency across the platform. Collaboration occurred directly with the product lead and development team throughout the process, which included:

  • Wireframing: Initial concepts were sketched and refined to address key user pain points.
  • Interactive Prototyping: An interactive prototype was created to demonstrate the full functionality and workflow of the feature.
  • Delivery: Final designs were handed off to development, ensuring seamless integration into the platform.

By adhering to the established design language and collaborating closely with stakeholders, the new vote view interface was successfully delivered, aligning with user needs and platform goals.


SOLUTION

A new modal within the Cadence appointments system was developed to provide a comprehensive vote view for schedulers and organizers managing "Ask Multiple Customers" appointments. This interface includes:
  • Voted Times Overview: Displays customer votes for specific dates and times, with the ability to see who voted for each option.
  • Room Availability: Integrates room availability alongside the voted times, ensuring schedulers can coordinate meeting logistics seamlessly.
  • User-Friendly Design: A clear, responsive interface for schedulers to make informed scheduling decisions with minimal effort.
