When I’m not designing, I’m working as an arts and culture writer. This year, I have concentrated my writing on queer artists who are redefining the boundaries of the contemporary art scene. Notable pieces include my piece on queer Latinx photographer Manuel Cardozo for Dazed, my interview with nonbinary artist Emiear Walshe, who represented the Irish pavilion at the Venice Biennale, published in Office Magazine, and my conversation with Studio Lenca a member of Tracey Emin's studio cohort, for Metal Magazine.
In my free time, I find myself between my painting studio and the studio of Isabel Rabassa, where I am doing an artist residency and appreticeship. I’m currently interested in the queer female gaze and its relation to the wasteland.
